I’m the Rubber

I was walking into work today, thinking about how to include God in my work today and  I remembered the post title from yesterday:

Where the Rubber Meets the Road

and I got to thinking about rubber and the road.

I like that illustration because it describes the reality of my situation:  The point where the rubber tire touches the pavement is like the intersection point of biblical Truth and and real life.

God wants to reach down out of eternity and into time and space to impact my life on a day to day basis.  This contact point with God is where He pushes me forward in my spiritual walk, and even as it continually changes, I am propelled forward.

I don’t know, but something about that idea really excites me. Imagine a God who wants contact with me!
