In our Sunday school class this weekend, the guy teaching the class was explaining the difference between the Greek way of teaching and the Hebrew way of teaching.
- The Greek way of teaching (according to him) was to present information to your students. The students had “learned” the material when they could recite it back (via tests or whatever) to the teacher.
- The Hebrew way of teaching is that the teacher works along side the student(s) and the student learns out of his relationship to his teacher.
And I was wondering, which way does God teach us?
