On the Slopes

In February, we got the opportunity to go skiing as a family (minus little ~A~).

This was my wife’s first time skiing since the fateful day 5 years ago when she lost her ACL going down a ski slope called "The Widowmaker."

It was a happy day.

Both of us, however, were more cautious going down the slopes this time.

Christine, because she didn’t want to mess up her knee. (It still isn’t as reliable as it was before the accident. Linear motion is ok, but not the twisting/turning like basketball or tennis require.)

I was being cautious because I didn’t want to injure myself where I couldn’t run.

We still had a lot of fun and ended the day eating a nice, warm meal at Cracker Barrel.
