A momentous occasion happened in our family yesterday. Both ~D~ and ~K~ lost a tooth.
I was working late so I missed the entire thing, but my wife was on hand to pull both teeth and give a little TLC.
~K~’s reaction was excitement: “I can’t wait until the tooth fairy comes!” He immediately showed me the gap when I got home.
~D~’s reaction was different. He didn’t want to see the pulled tooth. He didn’t want anyone to look at his mouth and his comment was, “Boy, I sure don’t want to be a dentist when I grow up.”
The tooth fairy had a busy night.
